The GHES Parent Compact is a written agreement between the school and home that identifies and outlines what the school’s staff, parents, and students will use to build a partnership and the activities they will undertake in their shared responsibility to improve academic achievement and help children achieve to the state’s high academic standards. It describes:
- The school’s responsibility to provide students with high quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables students served under Title I, Part A to meet the state’s academic achievement standards.
- The ways in which parents will be responsible for supporting their children’s learning (e. g., monitoring attendance, completing homework.)
Parents are invited to review the Parent Compact on Wednesday, September 20th from 8:00-8:45 AM in the GHES Media Center.
